Seeing his little girl with that resolute look to her face made the King both want to laugh and be proud of her. Truly, she was his daughter.

And then, of course, there was his up and coming child, and his wife. How had he come to having such a loving family? Agdar was all too easily sliding an arm around his Queen’s shoulders—such poor manners for a dinner, but that was the thrill of it, really. Here he was, making his own rules in a castle filled with long-standing tradition and rules to live by, and he could overrule it.

He wanted to raise his kids differently than his father did—no more cold, formal dinners between family, no.

The Queen leant quite readily into her husbands hold, resting one hand on his chest as they watched Elsa continue to make her attempts with her dinner. Thankfully, most of the food seemed to meet her target, even with her odd grip on the spoon.

Teaching her daughter to be a lady could come later. Let her be a child for the time being. She already knew when to be quiet, and was getting the hang of curtseys already. The princess was already growing into a sweet little girl - Idun was just hoping this new child could be a playmate for her. She could remember the joys of having her own siblings around. She just hoped her Elsa would take the news well.

“Done,” the toddler suddenly announced, putting down the spoon. Truthfully, there was a good chunk of food left. “Done, done, done.”
