“Well, alright,” Agdar said, opening the door for his wife and child, “Still, I insist that you rest. I just don’t want anything happening to you."
Before coming inside the room himself, the King spotted a guard passing by. “You there! Come here.”
The man in uniform rushed to the King’s side. “Yes, Your Majesty.”
"Bring your Captain to me.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.” And the man was off as soon as he came.
When that was all done, the King finally came in to the chambers, looking over at the Queen.
“Such a thoughtful husband,” Idun teased as she wandered inside. “How did I get to be so lucky?”
As he talked with the guard, the Queen settled herself and Elsa on the bed, her daughter eager for food. She had gotten into quite a routine, holding the baby in one hand while unbuttoning the front of her nightdress with the other. The little thing was soon latched, a slight wince on Idun’s face, and happily suckling away.
She cupped the back of Elsa’s head, looking up at the king as he entered. “I take it we’ll be having more visitors soon enough?” she asked, raising one eyebrow.
