Elsa nodded as Anna was hidden from her view. ”….I-I didn’t mean to hurt her. S-She just wanted to build a snowman.” She mumbled, closing her eyes. She hadn’t meant for things to go so wrong. ”….Will me and Anna be able to play again?” She asked, frightened eyes looking up at her mother. She had many questions, but knew her mother couldn’t answer all of them.

“Shh, no need for explanations, darling, I know you didn’t mean this. You love Anna very much; it was just an accident.”
How Idun wished this was just another childhood accident that could be fixed by a kiss and a cuddle. But it wasn’t. Anna felt as cold as ice, and if it weren’t for her shallow breathing and weak pulse, one might think she were dead.
“Of course you will, Elsa,” she murmured, offering the best smile she could, cupping the child’s face. Such promises should not be made, not until there was a definite answer, but if she could provide even the tiniest slither of hope, she would. “Of course you will.”
